Talking food and object videos are one of the most consistently viral formats for kids content, family content, and educational Shorts. A cute Pixar style banana complaining about the fridge. A phone warning you not to charge it under the pillow. Simple idea, massive engagement.

This tutorial gives you a one prompt system that generates everything — category, 5 characters, dialogue, image prompt and video prompt — all in one ChatGPT conversation.

What you need: ChatGPT or Claude to run the prompt, Midjourney or Google Flow for character images, Pika or Runway for talking animations, ElevenLabs for voiceover, CapCut to assemble.

01 — Why This Format Works

The hook is built into the format. When a cartoon banana looks straight at the camera and says "you are going to throw me away just because I have brown spots — but right now I am at my sweetest" — people stop scrolling. It is funny, it is useful, and it is relatable.

Every video in this format works on the same mechanic: the character breaks the fourth wall and tells the viewer something they did not know. Fruits talk about storage mistakes. Objects warn about misuse. The more personal and slightly scolding the dialogue feels, the better it performs.

🍎
Fruits and Vegetables
Storage mistakes, ripeness signals, best combinations. Examples: banana, lemon, avocado, bread, garlic.
📱
Everyday Objects
Misuse warnings, maintenance tips, hidden functions. Examples: phone, charger, pillow, toothbrush, plastic bottle.
🍵
Drinks
Effects on the body, best time to drink, what to avoid mixing. Examples: warm water, coffee, green tea, sugary drinks.
🍳
Kitchen Objects
Wrong usage, cleaning tips, what they wish you knew. Examples: pan, knife, cutting board, thermometer, blender.

02 — What Each Character Gets

For every character the system generates three things. This is what makes the format so efficient — one prompt run gives you a complete production package for 5 characters at once.

Output per character
A — Turkish Dialogue
Short, direct, first person. The character speaks as if slightly offended. 10 to 15 words maximum. Example: "Kahverengi beneklerim çıktı diye beni çöpe mi atacaksın? Şu an en tatlı halindeyim!"
B — Image Prompt (English)
Pixar or Disney 3D style, big expressive eyes, mouth, personality. Character in its natural environment — kitchen counter, fridge shelf, table. Ready to paste into Midjourney.
C — Video Prompt (English with Turkish dialogue)
Technical animation instructions for Pika or Runway. Describes how the character moves and speaks, with the Turkish dialogue line embedded inside the prompt.

03 — The Master Prompt

Paste this into ChatGPT. It will first ask you which category you want, then generate 5 complete characters with all three components for each one.

Master Prompt — Talking Food and Object Video Generator
You are a social media content creator and animation director. Your job is to create scripts and visual prompts for viral talking food and object vertical Shorts videos.STEP 1 Ask the user: "Which category would you like to create content for? Fruits, Vegetables, Kitchen Objects, Everyday Objects, or Mixed?"Wait for the user to answer.STEP 2 After the user picks a category, select 5 different characters from that category.STEP 3 For each character, create all 3 of the following:A) Turkish Dialogue Write in first person, friendly but slightly scolding and informative tone. Maximum 10 to 15 words. The character should feel like it is gently complaining or warning the viewer.Examples of tone: "Kahverengi beneklerim çıktı diye beni çöpe mi atacaksın? Şu an en tatlı halindeyim!" "Buzdolabında ne işim var? Burada üç kat daha hızlı bayatlıyorum!" "Beni uyurken yastığının kenarına koyma, çok ısınıp patlayabilirim!"B) Image Generation Prompt (English) Pixar or Disney 3D animation style. Big expressive eyes and a mouth. Strong personality. Character in its natural environment (kitchen counter, fridge shelf, table, charging cable etc.). Cinematic lighting, 8K, hyper detailed 3D render.Format: "A cute anthropomorphic [CHARACTER] with big expressive eyes and a mouth, Pixar style 3D render, high detail, [NATURAL ENVIRONMENT], cinematic lighting, 8K."C) Video and Talking Prompt (English with Turkish dialogue) Technical animation instructions for Pika or Runway. Describe exactly how the character moves while speaking. Include the Turkish dialogue line inside the prompt.Format: "[CHARACTER] is [MOVEMENT DESCRIPTION], realistic mouth movements synced to speech, expressive facial animation, high quality 3D render. Dialogue (Turkish): [PASTE TURKISH DIALOGUE HERE]"Category content rules: Fruits: Talk about storage mistakes or ripeness signals (banana spots, watermelon sound, avocado color) Objects: Talk about misuse or maintenance (phone charging overnight, plastic bottle reuse) Drinks: Talk about effects on the body (warm water toxin flushing, sugary tea fatigue) Kitchen objects: Talk about wrong usage or cleaning (pan seasoning, knife storage)Generate all 5 characters now with all 3 components each.

04 — Generating the Animations

Once you have your 5 image prompts and 5 video prompts, here is the fastest workflow:

  • Generate all 5 character images in Midjourney using the image prompts. Use the same style keywords in every prompt to keep the visual tone consistent across all characters
  • Upload each image to Pika with the corresponding video prompt. Pika's talking face feature works best for this format — it syncs mouth movements to the audio automatically
  • Record or generate the Turkish dialogue in ElevenLabs. Use a warm, slightly dramatic voice. For kids content use a higher, cuter voice
  • In CapCut, stack all 5 characters one after another. Add a short transition between each one. Total video length: 30 to 45 seconds
  • Add a simple colorful background that matches the category — kitchen tiles for food, living room for everyday objects

Scaling tip: Run the prompt with "Mixed" category and you get 5 completely different characters in one go — a fruit, a vegetable, a kitchen tool, a drink and an everyday object all in one video. This format performs especially well because viewers never know what is coming next.

05 — Publishing Tips

  • Title format: "Things in your kitchen that are talking back 🍌" or "5 foods that are mad at you right now 😤"
  • The most viral character in this format historically: banana, bread, phone, avocado
  • Add subtitles to every video — the Turkish dialogue needs to be readable on screen
  • Pin a comment: "Which character should we add next? 👇"
  • Post at 4 PM to 8 PM local time for family audience peak
  • Repost the best performing character as a standalone video later in the week
